This will help the child start developing decision-making skills, which are sure to be vital in the future. The child is also engaged in group discussions with other children, where they exchange ideas and views (Canoquena, 2019). Group discussions also mean that children give and receive information. Children are also likely to be more open with each other than with the teacher (Canoquena, 2019). Discussing in groups will also help the child develop different social skills and learn to interact with people outside the classroom.
From the findings above, the education program must be centered around the child. The child will have many benefits, meaning that they will learn more in school than when the program is centered on the teacher. The input given by the teacher is also very minimal in the child-centered education program meaning that the teachers will not overwork themselves trying to make the students listen to them.
